Our history

Sarzi Lamiere was founded in 1975 in Sabbioneta by Franco Sarzi Amadè.

Development

Its activity, which is based on manufacturing for third parties, offered services such as shearing, calendering and welding to the engineering sector, mainly for the construction of agricultural storage tanks, heating oil and diesel fuel tanks.

In 1978 Sarzi Lamiere, although is still a family-run business, became a joint-stock company turning more and more towards innovation and the diversification of its product range.

Over years and across generations, the company has developed and evolved, attracting new customers. Significant investments have been made for years, establishing the business both nationally and internationally.

Evolution

Since 2000, we have been working in partnership with a valuable trade agent as our representative beyond the Alps. A significant turning point came with the purchase of our first laser cutting machine and tube bending machine, which marked the beginning of our relations with the automotive sector.

Sarzi Lamiere S.p.A. first appeared on the international market with the typical shyness of early dealings with foreign partners, a hesitance quickly overcome by business enthusiasm and strong relationships with new customers.

The company always stands out for its focus on innovation and the implementation of advanced technologies.
This, combined with excellent skills and strong collaboration with local suppliers, has contributed to its success up to the third generation, up to now.

Today Sarzi Lamiere reaches out on a surface of 64 000 m2, with a built-up area of 17 000 m2 thanks also to recent extension of 3.000 m2 destinated to stock area and production.

Location

Its strategic location offers only advantages, given the presence of major material and tools suppliers as well as motorway junctions nearby. The export business corresponds to 60% of the turnover, mostly, towards European countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Poland.

However, our interest in the Italian market remains strong, after some years of low volumes, it has returned more and more important for us. We mainly work for the automotive, agricultural machinery and earthmoving sectors, as well as for the automation industry in general.

As new targets and challenges are on the agenda, we remain curious and open-minded, while staying grounded in our expertise, know-how, and flexibility. We always strive to stay ahead of the times and our competitors.
